Our Mission
At LMW Horsemanship, our mission is to provide exceptional equestrian services to our clients while promoting the well-being and enjoyment of riding at any level.

I am a Brandi Lyons-certifited horse trainer who teaches natural horsemanship techniques through the Lyons Method. This method is based on pressure and release to communicate with the horse. Applying pressure motivates the horse to find the answer. Once the horse understands what you're asking of them through the process of elimination, the horse starts to associate the cue with the release, eventually becoming a conditioned response. This method of training requires commitment, consistency and patience, however it has proven to make calm, confident horses.

Horses are the perfect companion - they are loyal, they listen and best of all they can keep all your secrets! Even though they aren't great at giving advice, they will always be there to comfort you.

MONTHLY TRAINING - $800/TRAINING PLUS $500/BOARD
My goal is to find the potential in any horse, maximize their ability and facilitate a relationship between horse and rider. I communicate and connect with horses through a process of elimination, repetition and memorization. I strive to build soft, responsive horses, not only teaching directional and speed control but also emotional control and proper energy use.
LESSONS FOR ANY LEVEL - $75 per 60-minute lesson
If you're looking to improve your skills with horses and educate yourself, I will work with you to help you understand and develop tools to help keep you safe and confident. I offer kid-friendly lessons on your horse or one of mine and lessons will cover ground work, the ten fundamentals, directional control, speed control, emotional control and how to best use your legs, reins and whole body to effectively communicate with the horse.
COLT STARTING - $800/training plus $500/board per month
Do you have a young one you want started under saddle? Or a yearling who needs handling? I'd love to teach your youngster how to be a safe, confident horse in the arena, out on the trail, or even at events and unfamiliar places. They will have lots of exposure to vehicles and ATVs, other horses and dogs, scary objects, and obstacles on the trail. They will learn how to self-soothe, pick up their feet, and make good decisions. A firm, early foundation is key to a safe horse.
